Invite a team member

Nobody is added to an organization directly: the person joins when they open the invitation link sent to their e-mail and accept it.

  1. Open Settings → Team.
  2. Enter the person's name and e-mail in the fields under the list.
  3. Pick a role: Admin, Member or Viewer.
  4. Press Add member. You see “Invitation sent to …”.
  5. The person clicks Open invitation in the e-mail, signs in with the invited e-mail address (signing up with the same address first if they have no account) and clicks Accept invitation.

The link is valid for 7 days and can be used once. Inviting the same person again replaces the old link with a new one. If e-mail sending is off on the server, the invitation is still created and the link is shown on screen; pass it on yourself.

note

If the person is signed in with another address, they see “This invitation was sent to …” and need to sign in with that address and open the link again. The member limit depends on your plan; when it is reached, the invitation can't be accepted: Plans and quotas.

Change a role or remove a member

  1. In the Team list, pick the new role in the member's role list; the change is saved straight away and you see “Role updated.”
  2. To remove a member, press Remove member on their row and confirm.

You can't change your own role or the owner's role.

Set up notification channels

  1. Open Settings → Notifications.
  2. Tick the box next to each channel you want to use and fill in its details:
    • E-mail: enter addresses in Recipients (comma separated).
    • Telegram: send the platform bot a message on Telegram, then paste your chat id into Chat ID. You can get it from @userinfobot. For a group, add the bot to the group; group ids start with a minus sign.
    • Webhook: enter an address starting with https:// in Webhook URL (https).
    • WhatsApp: enter numbers with the country code in Recipient numbers. Messages are sent from the WhatsApp Business number you connected under Settings → Social accounts: Meta and Instagram.
  3. For Telegram, webhook and WhatsApp, try the connection with Send test.
  4. In Events, choose which events reach the channels.
  5. Press Save.
note

Proactive WhatsApp messages need an approved template; without one, messages only arrive inside the 24-hour conversation window.

Webhook payload

On every event, a POST request with a JSON body goes to your address. Fields: event, severity, title, body, href, siteId, at. The request uses the SEOAsist-Webhook/1.0 User-Agent.

Events

The events you can pick: Site is down, Site is back up, SSL / domain expiry, Dropped from index, Significant page change, Crawl finished, Fix PR opened, Content published, Ranking change, Report ready, GEO run finished, Workspace needs approval, Workspace weekly report, Sync failed.

Crawl finished, Ranking change, Report ready and GEO run finished are off by default; the rest are on. The event filter applies to every channel. In-app bell notifications are always created, whatever you select.

Check that it worked

  • After Send test you should see “Test sent.” and receive the message in Telegram, at your webhook endpoint or on WhatsApp.
  • After saving you see “Notification settings saved.”

FAQ

E-mail notifications aren't arriving. What should I do?
